Melissa and Andy wedding photography

Saturday, December 15th, I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Melissa & Andy Roller in Houston, MN. Yes, it was a brisk 20 degrees here in Minnesota, but the wedding day went great. The wedding ceremony was held at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston and the wedding reception followed at Signatures Visions Event Center in Winona, MN.

It was just a wonderful atmosphere for a wedding. With Christmas around the corner, it seemed to add a warm feel to the whole wedding day.
Wait until you see the table decorations! I mean, who doesn't like Christmas? And then to celebrate a marriage between two people in love, with your family and close friends present - I could tell there was truly a special bond with both families.

I will be getting some photos from the wedding and reception posted as soon as I can.

Congratulations Melissa and Andy!

New website design!

Well, after a month or so of finishing up with my last few weddings of this very busy year and fitting in a number of engagements, seniors and family photography, I've finally finished my site's redesign and service package upgrades. Bigger and better print options, fine custom designed albums and fine art canvas wrap prints to all of my future clients are included in the new packages.

Wedding photography in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro areas is still available as well as wedding photography in other cities such as Rochester, Red Wing, Austin, Hastings and Winona. In Wisconsin - La Crosse, Onalaska & Eau Claire have always been covered too. Probably the most exciting addition to my wedding photography services is destination wedding photography. Want to work with a local photographer at your wedding in New York, or San Diego, even the Caribbean or in Mexico? Not a problem. My passport is current for the international weddings and I'd be able to discuss your wedding photography options for your destination wedding.

I want to be able to focus on my clients better, provide even better service & products, so due to popular demand of my services and new photography product/service offerings - I needed to change some things. It will be for the better to all of my future clients! With the 2008 wedding season already half booked, there's not too many dates left for my availability! There's even a few for 2009 already.

The packages can still be customized and are not set in stone. I do want to provide as much flexibility to my clients as possible. Everyone's needs for wedding photography is different and I understand this. I hope you enjoy the new look of the site and check back often as I'll be rotating the wedding photos used on the site more frequently!

Trying something out...

Wow, its been a busy past week! 2 weddings, 2 engagements and 3 family shoots. I'll be posting more, but I'm focusing on backing up & processing photos I've taken in the past week. Of course there's always other things such as album designing and maintaining my site and this blog. So here's a quick little test for a slideshow of my wedding images posted on my flickr account....

Elizabeth & Justin engagements

On October 3rd, I had the pleasure of having an engagement session with my clients, Elizabeth & Justin, who are getting married next year. Even though there were times that the mosquitoes seemed to swarm us all at the same time, we had a great time. These two were fun. Elizabeth was serenading Justin with some songs she sings at work and well, I guess you had to be there to see Justin's expression as they described them. (Right, Justin!?!) It was good time. Nothing better than being with happy people. But enough of my rambling - let's see some photos!

The fountain in the background of these photos has a special meaning for these two. It's were Justin proposed to Elizabeth!

A walk along with riverside with the Julia Belle Swain docked in the background - the same paddleboat that was floating through Wabasha, MN for the wedding of Teresa & Scott.

The sun started to set and we didn't have much time left, but we made the most of it and the photos turned out great!

And a kiss under the street light, during the sunset, to end the evening...
